How a parcel is priced
- One parcel beats several: the base charge is paid per parcel, so consolidating a haul makes every item cheaper to ship.
- Asking Fishgoo's warehouse to drop shoe boxes and spare packaging usually saves more than any coupon.
- Lines bill on whichever is greater: the scale weight or the box's volume weight. Shoe boxes, puffers and anything with air in it get charged on volume.
- Customs is separate: your own country charges any duty or VAT on arrival, and it is not part of the shipping price Fishgoo shows.
- You pay twice: the item (plus the seller's delivery to Fishgoo's warehouse) when you order, and international shipping later, once, for everything you send together.

Delivery times by line
Add the time before shipping starts: the seller usually needs 2 to 5 days to get your item to the warehouse, and the line's clock only starts once you pay for international shipping.

Shipping questions
What is volume weight?
Lines charge the greater of the real weight and the volume weight (the box's size divided by a fixed number). Big light items, like shoe boxes and puffer jackets, are charged on size.
How can I cut the shipping cost?
Consolidate into one box, have the warehouse strip shoe boxes and spare packaging, choose an economy line when time allows, and apply the shipping coupons in your Fishgoo account.
Does the shipping price include import tax?
Not normally. Import duty and VAT are set by your own country and charged on arrival. A few lines, such as tax-included EU lines, build them in, and Fishgoo labels those lines.
How much will my haul cost to ship?
Weight, destination and the line you pick set it. For a sense of scale: about $42 for 2 kg to the US on a standard line, less on economy, more by express. Fishgoo gives the real figure at shipping checkout.
How long does Fishgoo take to deliver?
Typically 12 to 25 days on an economy line, 8 to 15 on a standard line and 3 to 7 by express, counted from when the parcel leaves the warehouse. Add 2 to 5 days before that for the seller to deliver the item to the warehouse.
